Jon Huddy has designed over 300 emergency departments around the world including in the United States, Canada, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Middle East, South America, and Australia. He is considered the worldwide content expert in emergency department design including innovations in pandemic/COVID-19 design solutions to keep patients and staff safe.  He has authored two editions of Emergency Department Design: A Practical Guide to Planning for the Future, published by the American College of Emergency Physicians, a textbook utilized around the globe by healthcare leaders for insights on groundbreaking ED planning and design.
