Dr. Joanne Paul, on leadership tips

Dr. Joanne F. Paul is a Lecturer in Emergency Medicine with the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus since 2012. She is also the Systems coordinator, Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, North Central Regional Health Authority, Trinidad.

Dr. Paul completed her base General Paediatrics specialty in the UK and fellowships in Paediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) in Australia and the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. She is the Coordinator of the Advanced Paediatric Life Support Courses (APLS) in addition to being an ATLS, Paediatric BASIC and ABLS instructor. She is a member of the PEM special interest group with the International Federation of Emergency Medicine (IFEM) and is an executive member of the Trinidad and Tobago Emergency Medicine Association (TTEMA). She is also a columnist with the Daily Express Newspaper and the executive producer of the Television Health Education series ‘Homefront’.
