Dr. Luis Lobón is Global Managing Principal for Mass General Brigham Global Advisory, past Vicechair Enterprise Emergency Medicine Mass General Brigham, and Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr Lobón leads the Mass General Brigham Global Advisory Client Executive Advisory team providing expertise in establishment and advancement of patient care delivery, executive educational programs, and cutting-edge research infrastructure development, aiming to deliver value and meet the healthcare transformation industry needs in collaboration with global partners.

With over 25 years of healthcare leadership and advisory expertise working with and leading multidisciplinary teams across the healthcare continuum, Dr. Lobón has achieved the highest standards of quality-of-care delivery while supporting efficiency and financial targets. His passion for healthcare system integration, eliminating fragmented and siloed care delivery and optimizing patient progression, has been a guiding principle of his leadership focus for the academic and nonacademic healthcare organizations and teams that he has led. He continues to provide that expertise through the many international collaborations that he leads under Mass General Brigham Global Advisory

Dr. Lobón has an extensive curriculum in healthcare executive education and is past Program Director for the International Emergency Department Leadership Institute, leading the master-level continuing executive education course, which explores topics central to the global challenges in Acute Unscheduled Care management and leadership and the formulation of strategies for the advancement of care delivery. Dr Lobón is Director of the Brigham and Women’s and the University of British Columbia Emergency Medicine Leadership Fellowship.

A graduate of the University of Cantabria Faculty of Medicine in Santander, Spain, Dr. Lobón completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai and Beth Israel Medical Centers in New York, and holds a Master’s in Health Policy and Management from the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at New York University. Dr Lobón is an alumnus of the Brigham Leadership Program, a joint program with Harvard Business School.
