Dr. Andrew Liteplo is the Chief of the Division of Emergency Ultrasound at Mass General Brigham and an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. He is a past-president of the Academy of Emergency Ultrasound and a former Secretary of the Society of Clinical Ultrasound Fellowships. He created SonoGames, the SCUF Annual Conference, and the AEUS Research Awards or SAEMMIES. He has a passion for ultrasound research, especially regarding lung, critical care, pulmonary embolism, education, and innovation, and is a two-time winner (2019, 2021) of the Most Prolific Researcher Award presented by the AEUS. He started the ultrasound fellowship and international ultrasound fellowship at MGH in 2007 and has since trained over 70 fellows from 27 different countries. He lectures extensively about all things ultrasound and loves to travel the world.
